Can I use AppTabs and NOT need to delete browsing history?

Hi - I'm looking into FF4 for my browser and one feature I really like the AppTabs. However it seems that if I want to use AppTabs, I must NEVER clear my browsing history - and I always clear my browser history on close.

I would really want both. Who wouldn't? This would be a show stopper for me.

Am I correct on this? Is there a work-around?

Is there a way I can get FF4 to clear browsing history EXCEPT for sites I specify (like my AppTab sites, for example)

I hope someone can help get to there.
