Bookmarks and addons gone

Firefox update to 3.6.10 this morning, now all my bookmarks, add-ons and history are gone. I tried to restore a back up profile and the only one there is from right now.

Are you still using your original Firefox Profile Folder ?

seems like there might be more to it then firefox, the computer had rebooted to install a windows update, then when i opened firefox, it did an update too.

The windows update might be the problem causer, all my settings were reset, screensaver, power features, all of it. So, might not be limited to just firefox.

Was from windows update, did a system restore to before the update, got everything back, something about the update reset all my windows user account info.

I updated to Firefox 3.6.10 last night and have lost all my bookmarks and many addons. I have not performed a Windows update since one week ago, 9/15/2010, so I do not think that I can not blame Windows for this. Attempts to restore earlier bookmarks are unsuccessful.
