The bookmarks and history system will not be functional

Hi, I got the error "The bookmarks and history system will not be functional...."

and I read the page

as last test I have deleted .mozilla but the error is still here!

The only change from the last time I have used firefox is one or more apt-get dist-upgrade.

I have a notebook with the same configuration and in the notebook I have no error. I tried to copy .mozilla directory from notebook to desktop computer but the error is still here!
