I cannot open firefox at all. When I checked the crash report it stated: Firefox 3.6.3 Crash Report [@ nsWindowWatcher::OpenWindowJSInternal(nsIDOMWindow*, char const*, char const*, char const*, int, nsIArray*, int, nsIDOMWindow**) ]

I am unsure how to handle this and would like some assistance.

Try this: Go to your profile folder - see Profiles - Where Firefox stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user data Delete the file compreg.dat
