Login hurdle using desktop user and password into mobile app on Android

info14658

Yesterday I integrated my email into the desktop using my email as the user and my password. I also downloaded the mobile app for Thunderbird on my Android upon which I was not able to use either the user or the password to log on. The response was simply I do not have an account. Trying to mitigate this. Thank you - Brian

Have you checked for typing errors?

How are you adding your accounts in Thunderbird for Android. By scanning the QR code in Thunderbird desktop or manually using the apps setup wizard.

Can you share a screen shot of the exact error message.

Are you entering your email address in the lower box, or pressing sign in with Thundermail? Who is your email account provider? Are you using imap or pop3? Does the app report the server configuration was found?
