Does firefox password work with apps?

Firefox for Android Password autofill

I am setting up a new Android phone but can't get my password into an app. The log-on credentials are stored in Firefox. Is this normal? Is it a property of the individual app? Is there anything I can do to facilitate Firefox auto-populating an app log-on fields?

Hi Peter,

Autofill on a mobile phone is set up in the OS level. So you have to configure it through your phone's Setting menu.

Here's an article from Google on how to do it.

Feel free to come back to the thread if you're still unable to use passwords you saved in Firefox in other app after you set Firefox as the default password manager.
