Firefox uses both HTTPS and secure DNS by default. If you're asking whether you should enable "Increased Protection" for DNS or enable "HTTPS-Only Mode," you can do both with few to no drawbacks and greatly increased privacy. I've had both enabled the whole time I've used Firefox and had no problems whatsoever.
