Images Not Updating in FireFox
Hi everybody, I need a bit of tech help! I have changed some images on my website but Firefox browser still displays the old images! Does anybody know how to correct this? I have the latest version of Firefox. If I use another browser the new images appear! Thanks for your help. Gazza

Hi Gazza, I think somehow "Cookies and site data" got cleared. That wasn't the intention of the test.
To reload the page bypassing the cache, can you use one of these:
- Shift+click the Reload button on the toolbar
- Command+Shift+R
If problems continue: if you load the image on its own (Shift+right-click or Shift+Ctrl+click > Open Image in New Tab), can you confirm from the address bar that Firefox is loading the same URL as what you see in your comparison browser?

Thanks Denys, I think I did exactly what was shown on that link. I left checked “Temporary cached files and pages” but nothing else. It has logged me out of everything! All social my media accounts, my email account etc. and no it has not refreshed the images on my website home page. What a waste of time that was!
It always fascinates me when user come here with issues, but fail to provide any evidence of the issue(s). How about screenshots from Firefox and other browsers. Links and steps for use to try an replicate the issue.

Thanks Jscher, when I open the image in a new tab it still opens the old image that is not actually on the website anymore! This is really bizarre! However, Shift, Command and R, assuming shift is the upward arrow that you use for capitals etc when typing, did work. It has brought in the new image. Problem solved! Thanks again for your help. :-)
Hi Gazza, thank you for testing. If you are making frequent changes, you may want to consider using some "cache busting" techniques. I found an article with a list of the common ones (I don't use this CDN company myself): https://www.keycdn.com/support/what-is-cache-busting
