By default Firefox isn't a search engine it's just a Browser. Your choice is the default firefox layout or select your own search engine to set as homepage.

Firefox is a web browser and not a search engine. A search engine for example would be duckduckgo.com, google.com, bing.com etc. Mozilla who makes the Firefox web browsers does not have their own search engine.
