On all windows in Firefox, both normal and private, I get what looks like brushstrokes over the text. Generally they disappear when I move the cursor, but they also appear and disappear without mouse moves. I have the same extensions running on other PC's but don't get this happening, only on this newly-built PC. Using Windows 11 version 22H2, Firefox ESR 115.4.0 64-bit. In the sample the brushstroke shows about 80 % down the page. It disappeared after about 30 seconds, and other appeared later. While writing this, the same kind of thing was happening on this page. Extensions Ecosia and Ghostery.

Update your graphics drivers from the manufacturer's site.

If it still happens you may need to disable hardware acceleration.

Tried that: got a driver a year newer (AMD Radeon) and disabled the hardware acceleration. No change, still got the problem.

Problem cleared in troubleshoot. So I restarted Firefox and disabled both extensions. Re-enabled them one by one, and the problem still stayed away. Go figure!
