Some websites leave a space at either the bottom, top or sides of screen
For the pat 6 months firefox opens 'some', not all, websites with an 1/8" or so space at either the bottom, top or sides. I've done the drag to fill and did the same in another screen, then closed the 1st screen and then the last one. Still doesn't fix the problem. I've changed resolution and that hasn't worked. I realize it's a minor problem but it drives me nuts. I always have to click the 'restore down' on all those websites. Anyone have a permanent fix idea for this?

Can you give an example of a website where you see this?
Does it still happen in Troubleshoot Mode?
If you have enabled "Resist Fingerprinting", set this pref on the about:config page to false to disable this feature to see if that has effect.
- privacy.resistFingerprinting => false

Thanks for the replies, zeronight and cor-el. Ah ha. I have Protopage as my 'home' page on both Firefox and Edge, with many widgets. It only happens when using Firefox, which I greater prefer. I've contacted Protopage for their input.
Can you attach a screenshot of the issue? The default Protopage layout looks the same on Firefox and Chrome for me.
Does it still happen in a new profile? An easy way to test a new profile is to install Developer Edition and see if it happens there or refresh your existing profile.
