Afer working seamlessly for years, Firefox will not open. I uninstalled and reinstalled several times but the application "Firefox" did not update. The most recent Firefox update was May 11 2023 and today in May 20. The only files that updated ( have May 20 as date modified) are install, installation telemetry, post signing data and zoneldProvenanceData. The Firefox application is dated May 11.

When I click on the Firefox icon on the taskbar, the hourglass indicating the program is loading, shows for sec or two, then disappears. I can't update my profile becase the app will not open. Please help, Sue

Did you try Firefox in Safe Mode? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/diagnose-firefox-issues-using-troubleshoot-mode#search104 Are you getting Firefox from Mozilla? https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/#product-desktop-release Did you use Sync? I would try a different version of Firefox to see if it loads. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/desktop/#nightly Make sure to install in a different directory than your current install. Also try Waterfox.net
