Is there a way to reduce unwanted email on my thunderbird inbox?

There are several options: - see if your email provider provides some anti-spam features. These can be very powerful, as they see the email before Thunderbird - Take advantage of Thunderbirds junk management features. This requires some work on your part to train it, but the payoff is good - Consider use of third-party anti-spam tools, such as Mailwasher, Spamcop, and others. There are premium (fee-based) features and also free features. Such tools can prevent all spam from reaching you. This is usually done by letting the anti-spam tool view incoming mail first to weed out the unwanted quickly. - Finally, be sure that your internet habits aren't indirectly inviting unwanted email. Such can happen by subscribing to newsletters and marketing offers that may generate unwanted email.
