Resolved - Cannot set up an existing account.
I have an existing Thunderbird account on my Windows 11 PC. I am now trying to open and access this same account on another PC with Windows 10.This is the message that keeps on appearing:
Unable to login in at server. Probably wrong configuration,username or password.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The simplest solution would likely be to copy the full profile from the Win 11 PC to the Win 10 PC. Do it when TB is not running.

Fair enough, but how do I do this, when to date I have not been able to even open up an account on my Windows 10 PC?
I'm puzzled. You state that you cannot log into server, yet that implies you set up an account, possibly with errors. My suggestion bypasses setting up an account by just copying from the other PC. If you copy the profile from the other PC, you will have the account immediately accessible. From your wording, it seems you are attempting to create the account fresh on the windows 10 PC.

Yes that is certainty an option, just copying my Windows 7 Thunderbird version, straight onto my Windows 11. But I'm not lucky. So I want to do what you are suggesting here, on another PC, my Windows 10 PC, first. So yes, that's exactly what I am trying to do, create a new, fresh account on Windows 10. I have to try this first, why fear, is I then loose everything of Thunderbird on my Windows 11 machine.
I am struggling a bit to understand your issue. Assuming that TB is working satisfactorily on the Win 11 PC, and assuming that you have installed TB on the Win 10 OC, do this: copy the folder at c:\users\(yourID)\appdata\roaming\thunderbird and place it in the same place on your Win 10 PC. Do NOT do this when TB is running. If you do that, then when you start TB, it will immediately see your account.

Okay, you say Thunderbird is not installing, but the error message indicates that it *is* installed and an account is set up, but there is an error in the configuration. Is it a Gmail account? Great, I think you might be onto something here.
Looking at the present Passwords on my Windows 11 PC, I have three.
Two of which has been put incorrectly (I did not install Thunderbird on this machine).
These are:
imap://imap.gmail.com
smtp://smtp.gmail.com
The part of this Password that is incorrect is soisukan. In Google it is coming up correct - soisuksan. But on Thunderbird it is soisksan, missing the u.
Ideally I would prefer to leave the Google account as it is - soisuksan. Might there be a way to edit/correct this on Thunderbird please?
Finally on Thunderbird Windows 11 PC, an additional third Password is coming up. This one is on an oauth://accounts, with a long string password, automatic I think, I did not create it.
A further explanation, Goggle seems to be happy, so I think this glitch is definitely with Thunderbird:

Did this, but unfortunately did not make any difference.
Another potential problem/glitch, is that sometimes I am getting two copies of everything?
In trying to find a solution, why I cannot currently set up a new account on my Windows 10 PC - error message yellow warning sign: Unable to login in at server. Probably wrong configuration, I thought it may have something to do with the Server Settings. These are the details of the existing copies of Thunderbird currently working:
Old original SSD now on a new (secondhand) ancient Fujitsu laptop: Server Type: POP Mail Server Server Name: pop.gmail.com Port 995 Default 995 Username: Name Security Settings Connection security: SSL/TLS Authentication method: Normal password

Is there a conflict here, that is prohibiting a new installation of my Windows 10 machine? I have read this possible solution: Success!!!! When I switched my outgoing server BACK to comcast.net on port 465 (from 587) , a window popped up ( it hadn't popped up previously) that asked for my comcast email password. After entering that, everything seems OK now. Is this safe to do, switching Ports?

Your issue is that gmail requires an OAUTH password that it gives you, not one that you select. I'm confused on your status, as your recent post said everything was OK.
I have three machines:
The first a new Windows 11, everything is working, bar the fact that the installation of Thunderbird was corrupted I feel, as my multitude of folders, housing all my emails has disappeared.
The second is a new, second hand laptop, with the original SSD from my broken Motherboard PC. Thankfully everything is working on it, I can see all my folders again
The third is a Windows 10 machine, that constantly comes up with the error message on installation of Thunderbird - Yellow warning sign: Unable to login in at server. Probably wrong configuration.
So what am I trying to do here. Seeing if I can successfully set up Thunderbird on Windows 10, then having gained that knowledge, then to try and do the same on Windows 11.
Why not go straight ahead, and do everything on Windows 11. I'm nervous, no idea really what I am doing - sorry no confidence. I cannot afford to loose my Windows 11 Thunderbird version completely, hence me being prudent, in getting all issues resolved first on my Windows 10 machine. Is the problem a gmail account or the comcast account?
The final request on trying to open up this existing Thunderbird account, is a Password request for Gmail I think. What I enter is accepted every time, but that then triggers the same message: Yellow warning sign: Unable to login in at server. Probably wrong configuration.
Comcast account, nothing to do with me, but was from a posting I read on another site.
