I've just downloaded and installed version 91.3.2 of Thunderbird, replacing an older version that I hadn't used for a long time. I want to use it as an alternative to Outlook. If my memory is correct, when I installed the older version, it immediately had access to all the folders that Outlook uses, that is Inbox, Junk, Trash (Deleted in Outlook), Draft and Outbox. Now, there's no Inbox, there are a few old Drafts possibly from the last time I used Thunderbird, and the other folders are empty. Clicking on "Unread Folders" or "All Folders" achieves nothing. Where did I go wrong?

TB doesn't automatically import Outlook data unless you select Tools/Import... then Mail, Address Books or Settings. Don't select Import Everything as that option is broken. Even then, the import wizard sometimes fails, and users resort to other methods:
