Using VPN on android without app or google play, download apk

Hi i have just paid for mozilla vpn partly to support the work of mozilla I do not and will not use any google service and do not have Playstore installed on my android phone so i would like to either: Download the apk for the app direct from mozilla (as i do for firefox) or from Fdroid or other trusted source Or Use mozilla vpn on android without the app as i believe basic VPN setup is available in android

Protonmail was the same when it initially launched and now offer android apps via fdroid - hopefully this will be available too for MozillaVPN in due course, I will keep checking

Hello!

Unfortunately, the only way you will be able to download and install the Mozilla VPN on any Android device is through the Google Play Store.

If this doesn’t work for you, remember you can always request a refund within the first 30 days of purchasing the subscription.
