all files disappeared from my sent folder

Mac Mojave 10.14.6 Thunderbird 60.9.0 This morning I was able to view sent messages in my sent folder but now it is blank. The sent folder is still there but empty. I did not do any upgrades. The solutions I have seen so far do not directly address this issue.

I found what I was doing wrong. I had clicked read unread threads in the sent folder and that caused the problem. When I clicked all threads all returned.

Under Folder properties I can see that there are 3.2 gigs and over 14000 entries

Also when I test send a message it now does not show up in my sent folder.
