When opening an email I`m asked to click on a link with a lot of letters and numbers in some sort of code(see screen shot). When I click on it nothing happens,but when I close the email programme (Hotmail.com)the link is on the desktop.Is this a problem in Firefox or elsewhere?

Never click on a link when you do not know the sender.

Delete those messages at once.

Use your virus scanner to see whether you got a trojan.
