how do i recover emails i accedently deleated

I was showing my husband how to delete a group of emails by holding down the shift key. He included all e-mails and i need to get back some that hold important information. I don't know what you mean "choose file"

Are the deleted messages in the Trash / Deleted Items folder for that account?
