I would like that when I delete a message from my inbox, it goes to the deleted messages file. Right now, they disappear, a major problem if they have been deleted by mistake.

What view of folders are you using? If you use "All", you should be able to see the Trash folder. If it is corrupted, you might have to repair it from the profile. The folder database should be in [profile] > Mail > [account name] and there should be a file called Trash and one called Trash.msf. Those should at least be present in Local Folders. I also have those files in all my mail accounts.
