I was watching a live stream and opened the chat in a new window. Now I can't close it. There are no buttons on the window. I am running Firefox developer edition version 40.0a2 on OS X 10.10.3.

Can you close this window with the Command+W or Shift+Command+W keyboard shortcut?

You can modify dom.disable_window_open_feature prefs and change their value to true to prevent a website from disabling toolbars and scroll bars in a pop-up window

Thank you! I can't believe I forgot to try that short cut. I was pleasantly surprised by the quick response time!

Most of those type of windows have an End Session or something like that.
