downloaded Firefox but icon for application folder is not showing

I downloaded Firefox on my new Mac but the icon that is suppose to show up to move to Application folder is not appearing.

When it launches for the first time and its in the doc, is it possible to drag and drop the icon into the applications folder? And if so does it stay?

It is possible that the default install folder was moved. However it would have been needed to be altered. Did you download it from: *https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/
