re: Lenovo Yoga-2 HD 1050, Android 4.4.2, FF V36.02

Tapping the icon brings up the initial empty white screen which collapses straight into "Unfortunately, Firefox has stopped"

Yesterday, whilst working with Chrome and accessing this site I could bring it to life, but than sudden death again. Tried the same sequence several times today again, this time no success.

Leaving me with another question why does Chrome work whereas FF doesn't?

It seems independent from the device and Android version as recently reported in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1050442

Please get it going, I dislike being chained to Chrome.

A sigh of relief, Mozilla back on track!

the fennec-40.0a1.multi.android-i386.apk does not crash anymore and seems to be stable. thus expecting the daylight version soon.

all regards to guigs2 who pointing me to the nightly versions.

cheers mate, but no change whatsoever.

at the moment I am still using Dolphin. although it exposes me to spam because of lacking the ABP and Noscript option it blocks at least images new Chrome doesn't even do that.

The previous question referenced has a bug that has been targeted to land in version 38, the current nightly. It is possible to try the Nightly version however it is on the bleeding edge of development. https://nightly.mozilla.org/
