Hi, I tried many ways to migrate all my addons to a new OS, but wich that I prefer is https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/collections/ Unfortunately I have like 30 addons and in Thunderbird the same, so, I'd like to find a way to create a sort of list made in the 'collections' format to acquire all addons at once. I also tried all of the addons suggested in this link https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1001656 but no one is able to save a list in the right format to be imported in 'Collections'. Have you idea if it is possible or the only way is to ad one by one manually? Thanks for reading, Paolo

These add-ons can be a great help by backing up and restoring Firefox

FEBE (Firefox Environment Backup Extension) {web link} FEBE allows you to quickly and easily backup your Firefox extensions, history, passwords, and more. In fact, it goes beyond just backing up -- It will actually rebuild your saved files individually into installable .xpi files. It will also make backup of files that you choose.

Thank You for answering, I appreciate your suggestions, but I am looking for a way to export addons list into ..firefox/collections/ all at once, not adding one addon by one. I very like the addon FEBE but my intention is to create collections to personalize many friends/customers's Mozilla products directly on-line in live mode on the Firefox or Thunderbird addons web sites, using always the updated and compatible ones. The last goal is that once all my collections will be published as I prefer, If decide to add or remove one for instance it takes a second and everyone just clicking on a link will be able to install all in security and easily. Anyway if it is not possible to export the installed addons list to firefox/collections/ automatically via addons or script, I ll inset one by one even if for a programmer this is very frustrating  :-( Thanks again for answering, Paolo

I understand. What you want is something like this; (I created this using a Word program)

Video WithOut Flash {web link} Watch videos without flash

About Add-ons {web link} Adds an About button to extensions, themes, and languages in the Add-ons list.

AboutPlug {web link} This simple extension adds menu item "About Plug-ins" to menu Help. When you select this item, page about:plugins is showed.

What I have done for myself is, Whenever I get an add-on, I also press the Favorites button. This keeps a list in my Add-ons web site profile. Note; the add-ons site, and most other Mozilla web sites, are separate from each other. They use their own user accounts. If you have an account there, or create one, you can then create your own list. After, that list can be shared with others.

Here is what it looks like in the Add-ons site profile.
