My Firefox default goes to my Yahoo account and not to Firefox. I need to be able to have Yahoo as a bookmark and not the automatic go-to when I click on my Firefox icon. I don't want to loose any information/bookmarks in place nor do I want to loose either Yahoo account or any other data.

NOTE: This is not Pinning Tabs in a Window.

Can I have more than 20 pinned items in the Pinned Area?" Right now it appears that 20 is the maximum.

I believe it is on the Hope Page where there are three types of Icons. - Pinned Area - other - Recent Activity The Pinned/other sections allows maximum of 4 rows of icons. Of which 20 items are in the Pinned Area. I would like to have more than 20 items in the Pinned Area. Can this be done?

I've tried to "follow" basketball news, but Firefox's home screen only shows me basketball news sometimes, and I can't even go anywhere to find it. How can I curate my home screen to be more bespoke? Please help!

Even though I am using Firefox on a Fedora based system, it should not change my startup page back to the Fedora project after every update, especially since I, the user has explicitly selected a different option in the settings after initial setup (Default Firefox homepage). I don't care about the new developments in Fedora enough to break my flow to look at it. This wouldn't be a big problem on a secondary browser, but Firefox is my main browser, I even have an account with which I am posting this, and in that case, changing the startup page to Fedora project after every update without my consent, even though it can be changed back to what I want, is a real problem.

I just launched Firefox and was greeted with an advertisement for Firefox. The URL was https://www.firefox.com/en-US/m/friends/

Other than bringing myself back to a different browser, is there a way to block Firefox's own advertisements.

QuickTabs is acting differently and totally messed up my home page. why can't i move an icon the way i used to? what is meant by the phrase "pinned area" that shows up in the upper left corner when i try to move an icon? are there some new settings that i don't know about yet?

it is not acting the way the attached picture shows. i've also attached a gif that better shows what i mean.

if you can point me to some documentation, i would be grateful.

Firefox settings let me set a home page URL, which is opened when I click on the home button. However, Firefox always opens with the Firefox Home page, and the only new-tab options are a blank page or the Firefox Home.

Previously, I could set a URL for startup and for new tabs. This 2025 tech page describes it:

All of the other browsers that I have tried allow me to set the startup URL and the new tab URL. Firefox has apparently been changed to eliminate those options. Please bring them back!

I have selected a specific website to load when I open Firefox. It does so, but a moment later, the Spotify website also appears—which I didn't ask for. How do I get rid of it?

My homepage is Firefox with 3 rows of selected icons/website links. Now they are 'pinned' and out of order. How can I go back to the 3 rows I had and move the icons where I want them? Why are they pinned and how can I get RID of this feature. I do NOT want "PINNED" ANYTHING I want to choose how my website lineup icons are positioned MYSELF! I want to REMOVE the PINNED feature all together and move the icons around as I please. PLEASE HELP ME RESTORE MY 'OLD' HOMEPAGE ROW LINEUPS. Thank you
