Alright so this may seem like a trivial issue but for someone who is trying to maximize workspace, it may be helpful. Is there a way to nudge a toolbar over and move the sidebar up to take its place? For example, the web developer toolbar in compact mode leaves 70% of the rest of the allotted space empty. Can I use that space for anything? Is there a way I can make the toolbar right justified and move the bookmark sidebar up the 30 or so pixels to fill that space? I can provide pictures if need be.

Firefox now has Web Developer Tools built-in, no need for an extension.

You can move the individual icons/buttons around to reduce the number of toolbars.

The Bookmarks Sidebar can't be moved up into the Toolbar area, but when in the Customize Mode the Bookmarks Toolbar Items on the Bookmarks Toolbar can be moved onto a different Toolbar. Then the Bookmarks Toolbar can be de-selected from showing.

I want the Navigation Toolbar to be just below the Menu Bar and above the sub-Windows line, but I cannot find how to reset it there.

Can you attach a screenshot?

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot.

Current Firefox versions only show the "Tabs on Top" menu entry in the "View > Toolbars" and "Firefox > Options" menu and in toolbar context menus if the tabs aren't in the default position on top.

If the tabs are on top and the menu entry isn't available and you want to move the tabs below the navigation toolbar then you need to toggle the browser.tabs.onTop pref to false on the about:config page.

A Firefox restart is necessary to update the menu entry to either show or remove it.
