When following some imbedded email links and always when starting LastPass, I get sent to a page which says "Oops! The page you are looking for could not be found." and instead of the address beginning with "https" it begins with "chrome". I am not now nor do I intend to be a chrome user.

For many years, Firefox has used the term "chrome" to refer to the user interface of the browser, i.e., everything other than the "content".

A chrome:// URL might be used to display some information from an add-on. It definitely is not the right URL for a web link. Can you make sure your LastPass is fully up-to-date in case there is a compatibility issue with your installed version of Firefox?

A standard diagnostic to diagnose interference by extensions (and some custom settings) is to try Firefox's Safe Mode.

First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See Back up and restore information in Firefox profiles. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)

Next, restart Firefox in Firefox's Safe Mode (Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode) using

Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled

In the dialog, click "Start in Safe Mode" or "Continue in Safe Mode" to launch Firefox in Safe Mode.

If the links works correctly, this points to one of your extensions or custom settings as the problem.

To further fine-tune your enabled/disabled add-ons, you can try here:

orange Firefox button or classic Tools menu > Add-ons > Plugins
orange Firefox button or classic Tools menu > Add-ons > Extensions

It seems as the culprit is DataMngr 1.0 which I can only seem to disable, not remove, and which it seems become re-enabled with the restart of FireFox. Is there a way to get rid of it?
