No media will work. I have re-set Firefox several times and have spent hours reviewing articles here that purport to fix this problem to no avail. HELP!

I have had this issue several times over the last two to three weeks. I have re-set, re-set, and re-set; checked all of my plug-ins & extensions, checked I'm not on Proxy, checked my firewall, etc., etc., etc.

None of the articles I am reading have helped. I'm ready to throw the computer out the window.

No media will load or play (including PDF) - although they all work on IE9.

Please assist me. I need to use Firefox to maintain my website.
