Crash Help Please?
I downloaded the new version of firefox and after everything was done installing and restarting, I opened firefox to only find it saying "Firefox has crashed". Everytime I tried opening firefox it would only tell me to send a crash report.
So, I uninstalled all firefox programs and tried to download it again using Internet Explorer(which I don't like, it is too slow on my computer) and it said I had to close firefox in order for it to install, but visibly there was no firefox opened since they were all uninstalled.
So how do I get to install the new version of Firefox?

The related bug for that crash report is:
Bug 658780 - Start-up crash with incompatible version of some extensions ...
You need to disable your Firefox extensions. You said before that the Firefox Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode "Disable all add-ons" and "Make changes and restart" option didn't work and, if you use the "Continue in Safe Mode" option, you can't open the Firefox Add-ons -> Extensions list? Try again:
Hold the Shift key while starting Firefox, click "Continue in Safe Mode" and then click on the orange Firefox button. Click Add-ons and then Extensions and disable all of them, in particular, any McAfee extensions since "McAfee Site Advisor" was specifically mentioned in the bug report. Then, after all are disabled, restart Firefox to see if it will now start normally.
If that doesn't work then you could create a new Firefox profile, since a new profile should start you off fresh, without added extensions (except for globally-installed extensions; hopefully the problem add-on isn't one of those). See Profile Manager - Create, remove or switch Firefox profiles .
Since you said that McAfee is out of date, you could also consider uninstalling it through Windows Control Panel and install another antivirus/antimalware program, such as the free Microsoft Security Esssentials, which I use (it will turn off Windows Defender when you install it) . You should also turn on the Windows Firewall, if it's turned off.

Are you forcing extensions to get installed with the Add-on Compatibility Reporter? *https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/add-on-compatibility-reporter/
Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

@cor-el: No I am not forcing extensions into add-ons, truthfully I have never even heard of them until now. Also I can't see which add-ons are causing the problems since it says "All add-ons have been disabled by safe-mode". No add-ons or extensions appear whatsoever.
@AliceWyman: I have already tried the profile thing and it kept saying Firefox crashed. Same thing, all the extensions/add-ons are already disabled since it says "All add-ons have been disabled by safe-mode".

Finally! I did what you told me AliceWyman, to uninstall McAfee and after I did I clicked on Firefox and it finally loaded without any crashing. Except it looks like safe-mode a little.. but I don't think it is because when I checked to look at my add-ons it didn't say anything about safe-mode but it still didn't show my add-ons..
Anyways, after uninstalling McAfee it sort of messed up my computer a little. One: after I had to restart it to make the final changes it didn't show any of my icons, later after I restarted it again and everything showed up fine it made my computer a bit blurry.
Also, Firefox is very slow now and it quickly does not respond.

Do you have more crash IDs?
Try a clean reinstall.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
- Firefox 5.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
- Uninstall your current Firefox version.
- Do not remove personal data when you uninstall the current version.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
- It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

Yes I have more crash id's, do you need to see more? And do I still need to do another reinstall when Firefox is now showing up again? I think it may have just been McAfee crashing Firefox all the time..
I think my problem is solved now, though I am not sure if I need to still check around for a few things to prevent from Firefox crashing again all the time in the future.
If you have more crash IDs since removing McAfee, then yes, post them here.
Do you still have other Firefox problems? If so post back here for more help. If your problem is solved, could you mark the post that solved it? Thanks.

Yes I have more crash ID's but they were before removing McAfee. But since my problem is solved I guess I don't need anymore help. Thank you for helping me cor-el and AliceWyman.
You're welcome. I'm glad Firefox is working now.
