Allowing a passcode

Terry Bergstrom

I use a pass-code on my iPhone to access saved passwords in Firefox The Firefox account is registered with an email and a password My wife also has a iPhone and she would like to be able to the Firefox account from her iPhone and use her own passcode we cannot seem to make this work - what do we need to do?

Hi Terry,

Are you referring that you'd like to use the same account on your wife's phone?

Each Firefox iOS credential store is protected by that device's unlock method (PIN, passcode, faceID, touchID), so whichever is set on her device system–wide will be used for unlocking these automatically. This applies to both synced passwords and/or local–only ones as well.

If you're stuck somewhere getting the actual sync to work, Sync logins in Firefox for iOS has the links to other steps if need be.
