Hi, if Dark Reader is enabled but its icon is missing from the toolbar, it is probably just unpinned. Try this:

1. Click the puzzle-piece Extensions button at the right end of the toolbar. 2. Find Dark Reader in the list, click the gear icon next to it (or right-click its name), and choose Pin to Toolbar.

If Dark Reader is not in that list at all: 1. Open the menu (the three lines at the top right) and choose Add-ons and themes, then Extensions. 2. Make sure the switch next to Dark Reader is turned on.

If it is enabled but still will not show, right-click an empty spot on the toolbar, choose Customize toolbar, drag the Dark Reader icon onto the toolbar, and click Done.

One more thing to check: if you are testing in a private window, open Dark Reader's settings on that Add-ons page and set Run in Private Windows to Allow, otherwise it stays hidden there.

Let us know which step brings the icon back.
