how to stop automatic picture-in-picture

mayersvarczkopfhenry

I love using picture-in-picture, but there are times when I want the video I'm watching to keep playing, but not pop out into the PiP and cover part of the screen I'm focusing on. I wish there was a way for me to keep the option to use the PiP, but not have it forced any time I want to switch tabs. I looked pretty hard and couldn't find any info, but if I'm just missing it and could be pointed in the right direction, I'd be super grateful!

You can either do it via the pip control or from Firefox settings: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/about-picture-picture-firefox
