You can switch to an esr version.

Also you don't have to update, it is a choice in your Settings > About Firefox

By the way what device are you using, this forum is for Desktops the Community Forums option at the top of the page give links to Android etc.

There has only been one update since the Firefox 155.0 release which is Firefox 155.0.1 https://www.firefox.com/firefox/155.0.1/releasenotes/
