Why when I search ABOUT:BLANK TAB, an empty page displays instead of the site I am searching for? I then have to go back and try again and again until it finally displays.

Cleared Cache, searched for extensions and not sure what to look for...they were verified by apple to be "normal". What else? Macbook Air 2023 running Sonoma 14.8.1

Hi,

What search engine do you use?

Firefox. homepage Yahoo

Oh, got it. This issue (or a very similar one) is tracked and investigated under bug 2034019. While I don't think there's a timeline to share yet, you can follow the bug, and I'll post major updates here.

Hey JGC TV,

Would you like to mark Denys' reply above as the solution in the meantime while the team is working on fixing the actual issue? I figure someone else with the same issue might stumble upon this thread, and having a solution will help them discover what's exactly going on more quickly.

There's an ongoing rollout of remote settings to try to unblock the affected users, details in: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1574298
