Windows home or pro? What security software besides MS Defender are you running?

Go to the top of the settings page is see if there's a message about your browser is being managed.

Where did you get Firefox from? You can try Refreshing Firefox. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/refresh-firefox-reset-add-ons-and-settings

Hi jonz, Are you suggesting there is more than one source from which to get Firefox? I have been unaware of there being multiple sources for obtaining Firefox. Thank you for the suggestion to refresh...will have to let this issue go for now. Thank you for your input.
