Firefox won’t close

Mozilla Firefox 115.25.0 (x64 en-US) won’t close since my previous version was updated on 6/29/25. I have tried closing it in my Win7pro Task Manager on several occasions, and had even tried to uninstall and then reinstall it from my “Programs and Features” menu, but I keep getting a message that the program can’t be uninstalled until it is first closed. Nothing I do fixes this problem. HELP

Hello,

Could you please try restarting your computer first? Unless Firefox is set to launch on startup, shutting down must stop any running processes.
