Hey Mozilla Support Community,

I hope you're all doing well. I'm reaching out because I've encountered a bit of a head-scratcher and was wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar.

I recently got myself an Intel Evo laptop, and while Chrome seems to be working seamlessly, I'm facing compatibility issues with Firefox. It's a bit puzzling, and I'm hoping to get some guidance from this knowledgeable community.

Here are the details of the issue:

Problem: I'm experiencing compatibility issues between Firefox and my Intel Evo laptop. The browser doesn't seem to be performing as smoothly as expected. Oddly, Chrome is working perfectly fine.

Symptoms:

Laggy performance when navigating websites. Occasional freezes and delays. General sluggishness compared to Chrome. What I've Tried: I've already tried a few troubleshooting steps:

Cleared the cache and cookies. Disabled unnecessary add-ons and extensions. Updated Firefox to the latest version. Checked for system updates on my Intel Evo laptop. System Information:

Firefox Version: 50 Operating System: window 10 I'm turning to this community in the hopes that someone might have encountered a similar issue or has insights into resolving compatibility concerns between Firefox and Intel Evo laptops. If you have any tips, suggestions, or if you've successfully addressed a similar problem, please share your knowledge!

Your help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance for your assistance!

Is it really Firefox version 50? Now we have version 120 or something.

We used to have some issues with Intel Iris GPUs, but it was a long time ago. With newest GPU drivers (higher than 30.0.101.1340) it should work OK.
