How can I transfer Thunderbird details from old computer (Windows 7 ) to another computer (Windows 10) with latest Thunderbird update. The latest update resulted in a in a loss of the address book and files containing important emails. Any help/advice much appreciated. Thank you.

try this. https://thunderbirdtweaks.blogspot.com/2019/09/i-lost-my-profilemail-on-update-to.html it might be your issue. If it is not you might want to spend a little more time explaining exactly what you see, I am not a good guesser really.
