Pocket won't recognise my Firefox account, it needs an email but my username is not my email address.

When I go to use Pocket and try to login into it with my Firefox account it asks email and password. When I put in my email, and my Firefox Account password, it says the account does not exist. Logging into Firefox Account to get to my account details asks for my username and password, not my email and password. Can you help please.
