TRied the various Options and Customise features, but to no avail. There is no Download Icon available anywhere that I can find to drag onto a toolbar. Previously I was able to circumvent the lack of any download information from Firefox by utilising the dropdown in the sidebar to switch from Bookmarks to Downloads, but that too has been removed. What on earth is going on? Why can't Firefox sort out the basic functionality and present it to the users before trying to get all clever and fancy. Downloads is an absolutely key element of any browser.
