Email has lost the toolbar usually seen above the emails

I must have changed some field because my emails do not show a taskbar , unread, write, address book, etc. above the emails. Please tell me how to get this changed back. Thanks.

Chosen solution

Press the alt key to make the Menu Bar appear. Select View-Toolbars and turn the toolbars back on. The items you listed are on the Mail Toolbar.
