I have tried the latest version and my tabs don't work or my bookmarks.

The browser shows the tab + but it will not open a new tab no matter how I set the options. The bookmarks show up in two places but neither place works as it should. One time the menu bar works and then it doesn't. you have bugs in the newest version that should have been fixed before it was released . I am talking about ver 30

You have a problem with your Firefox installation; most users don't have problems such as those you mentioned.

Not opening a new Tab might be a problem with TabMix Plus; do you have that extension installed?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

Problems with bookmarks and history not working properly can be caused by a corrupted places.sqlite database file.

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.
