New page overflows window I must CTL+- to fix how to lock fix???
When I open a new page in Foxfire the width of the page overflows my monitor. I must use Ctl+- to make the page narrower. I cannot find any way to set the page width as an option.

Does this problem occur with every page, or specifically with your home page, or your "new tab" page?
Firefox 22 adjusts the page zoom level according to your Windows settings, to better support high DPI displays. For example, when your Windows text size is set to 125%, Firefox zooms the content area 25%. (Ctrl+- twice takes it back down to 100%.)
Sites that size themselves to fit without scroll bars may need to be updated to look right in Firefox 22. However, Firefox should remember your site-specific zoom settings, so it should only need to be a one-time adjustment per site.
