i use speeddial addon and it now keeps going off every time I close firefox and I need to reinstall it every time. What can I do to stop this happening? Thanks!

My homepage now says XML Parsing Error: no element found Location: chrome://speeddial/content/speeddial.xul Line Number 1, Column 1 every time I open firefox. I then have to reinstall speeddial every time I start up. This never used to happen before and I don't think I've changed any settings.

Been in touch with the author of the product and got the following reply: The problem is the SiteAdvisor extension that McAfee installs; go to Tools > Add-ons, in the resulting panel select "Extensions", locate SiteAdvisor, click on it to select, and then click the "Disable" button; Speed Dial will work perfectly after that.

I already contacted them to attempt to fix the problem, but no reply so far. The problem happens before any Speed Dial code is executed, so I don't think I can fix it on my side.

Don't have the problem any more, note I had a McAfee update just before the problem started happening.
