I would like to be albe to save User ID on Hotmail and Facebook and not my passwords, what do I have to do to accomplish this?

If I check the box in Options it will save Password and User ID and uncheck it, it saves nothing. It says something about form autocomplete, but cannot find this in option. I just want to save User ID's not Passwords. Thanks

You can disable the Firefox Password Manager and use form autocomplete to remember the name.

  • Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: [ ] "Remember passwords for sites"
  • Tools > Options > Privacy > History: [X] "Remember search and form history"

What worked for me: TOOLS -> OPTIONS --> PRIVACY --> click on history setting --> manual setting, on the field cookies go to EXCEPTIONS, add www.hotmail.com in allowed sites and click on Allow Since then my Firefox open a popup menu when in hotmail, and remembers all the user ids
