I set my homepage as google.com, but when I open a tab it open to a blank tab, not to the homepage. Also, I clear the history, but when I start typing, it automatically gives me the list of all the websites I have visited. How can I delete this?

1. New Tab Homepage extension: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/777

2. If those URL's have a Yellow Star at the far right of the Location bar, those are saved Bookmarks you are seeing in the Location bar dropdown.
