Hello Anonymous.

You may be having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?

Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not coming from one of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in safe mode and select Disable all add-ons. If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode, and enable them one at a time until you find the source of the problem. See this article for information about troubleshooting extensions and theme. You can troubleshoot plugins the same way.

If you want support for one of your add-ons, you'll need to contact its author.

Which security software (firewall) do you have?

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you about that, maybe after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program. Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox. See Configure firewalls so that Firefox can access the Internet and http://kb.mozillazine.org/Firewalls

The firewall I use is the Windows firewall. So I disabled all addons and the firewall as well just to make sure that it wasn't one of them and I'm still having the same problem. It's only "youtube" that wont load properly as the other webpages I visit are still functioning. Tried the page on internet explorer and it works there so I'm confused.

Sometimes people confound Add-ons with Extensions or Plugins... Add-ons is the whole of Extensions, Themes and Plugins. Are you sure you disabled them all? Running Firefox in safe mode will let you do that easily.

I disabled everything under the addons toolbox from Extensions-Plugins and I was still getting the same problem. I then ran in safemode with the "disable all addons" box checked and I still couldnt get it to load videos properly. I can get to the page just fine but when I click on any video, it just ends up looping in loading until I go to another page.

Don't know if my last post went through so I'll re-post this again. I disabled everything under the addons toolbox and still had the same problem. When I ran it in safemode, I also checked the "disable all addons" box and when I went to "youtube," it still didn't load the videos for me. The thing is that I can get to the webpage just fine but when I click on any video, it loops the loading and just stays there until I go to another webpage.
