Image dense pages aren't loading properly/at all.
I have a few websites that are consistently unable to load or give out shortly after they do. The two websites I have the greatest issues with are kingarthurbaking.com and Pinterest. Both can load fine on other browers. I am running Windows 11 25H2.
Steps I have taken thus far that did not resolve: Clearing all cache and cookies Setting both "always block" and "always allow" cookies for the sites in question Disabling all extensions Running Firefox in troubleshooting mode Disabling hardware acceleration on Firefox and Windows Refreshing Firefox Completely uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox Screwing around with network.http.max-connections (a hail mary suggestion from a 2011 article)
Clearing all browsing history will let Pinterest load, but I can't search or navigate from the main page without encountering another infinite load and I can't scroll down far before images stop loading. I'm not fond of clearing my entire browser history every time I want to load anything in Pinterest or on King Arthur. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

For a profile that was supposed to undergo a refresh there's a hilarious amount of legacy data, including the thing seeing itself as running on Windows 8 etc. — would you be able to create a new separate testing profile just to check using that one what happens? Thanks.
(Or, without fiddling with profiles, grabbing a separate Firefox Nightly nightly.mozilla.org which comes with a separate profile for a clean slate test.)

You can open sites that tend to clog their session/persistent data store and trip over it later via a new Private Window — which cleans after itself once you close it.
As for the culprit, the question was submitted without troubleshooted data, so there's not much to look into — in case you use a VPN or have a 3rd party antivirus or security software make sure it's not allowed to scan/modify your HTTPS connection which can stall things.
I checked a few random recipes and more than images there's external Vimeo videos embedded, so look into Vimeo reliability/availability.
You might want to investigate first what is actually happening. F12 › Network pane will list all "lazy" and async calls and will show their connection status — you can watch for red lines with failures and learn about the reason for that code from the site operator.
Thank you for your response. I have added troubleshooting data to my original question.
I set exceptions in my antivirus software to allow HTTPS traffic on the sites I mentioned. Looking at the F12 menu on Pinterest it is throwing a bunch of "Source map error: Error: request failed with status 403
I also still get long loads and other issues when using a private window.

Okay yep, it's my profile.
How do I refresh my profile to get rid of the excess/legacy data? I've attempted to do so but clearly was not successful.
Thank you so much for your help.
I don't have any real good advice if the current Refresh functionality didn't help besides starting with a new profile, and transferring the important bits from the old one.
There's some general tips on how to start copying files from your old profile to the new one to identify which one causes the issue. See this article on what files to copy.
(During the process you might actually identify the culprit, so it can help you point to something in the original profile which after cleaning up or trimming down might start functioning again.)
