Please Allow Users to Set What to Delete
We have noticed that none of our tabs are saved in Firefox anymore, and the settings require a specific number of saved tabs, which can vary from one session to the next.
Please allow users to select which tabs to save. For instance, a check box ☑ system would be very helpful.
Thanks!

Hi, I don't think we have a limit there. Not less than 2000 tabs for sure.
Let me rephrase.
One has to specify in Firefox how many tabs one wants to *leave open* when one closes the browser.
My spouse and I use different tabs, and often different numbers of tabs, each time we use Firefox. Therefore, a set limit for the number of tabs we want saved does not work for us.
A checklist would be much better. We could decide each time we use Firefox which tabs, if any, we want to save for the next time we use it.
I think I understand. Do you want to be able to select the tabs that will remain open after restarting, and the rest has to be closed?
Exactly.
There is no way to do anything other than specify a set *number* of tabs currently, which means that the Mozilla system just deletes all but the first however many number of tabs, starting at the left (or are the saved tabs randomly determined?).
I wasn't aware of this feature with a number of tabs.
Right now you can only select your tabs and drag&drop it on the Home button. See How to set the home page.
If you wish, you can send your idea directly to developers on the Mozilla Connect website. Click the Firefox Menu
button in the toolbar, click Help and select Share ideas and feedback…. Alternatively, you can use this link. Your feedback is collected by a team that reads it and gathers data on the most common issues.
I thought this was Mozilla Connect. Someone responded to our first post with a link to this page, asking us to post at Connect.
I have posted there now.
Thanks!
