Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.

How can I get rid of this?

Thanks for your lightning-fast response.

Your advice, which I've tried, works for me if I want Firefox to use Yahoo as my search-engine. What I would like to do is to get back to its using Google.

Between posting my question and getting your response, however, I through a set of steps advised on a Yahoo page, and that, I see, has enabled me to get back to Firefox using Google.

Thanks for your swift help, all the same.

Regards Paul

No longer needing to click on the Mozilla support page, I don't know what it says, but here's the advice I'd found, following the steps of which I got rid of the problem, and which I copy here in case it helps anybody else:

How do I stop Yahoo from hijacking my Firefox browser? Fix Yahoo replacing Google in your Firefox browser Settings > Addons & Themes. Remove any unknown ones. Settings > Home. Reset your homepage. Settings > Search. Reset your default search settings. Settings > Privacy & Security. Delete all cache and temporary internet files. 31 Mar 2025

Thanks again.
